I exercise fairly regularly, and a large in this feels smaller than a large from amazon basics (slim fit) or a large classic adidas tank top. Now it doesn't feel as tight as a medium either, but for those of us who are a little on the thicker side of the chest size spectrum. Mind you I also haven't tried this out since I've washed it, so I'm expecting it to fit even tighter afterwards.Gave it to my son for fathers day and he liked it very much.
