Like a lot of guys, I saw an ad on Facebook for True Classic Tees. Upon reading the dumpster fire of a comments section, one person mentioned that the True Classic Tees were basically Gildan 1100 style shirts. I cannot confirm nor deny that they're the same but it piqued my interest seeing as the shirts in the ads seemed to be cut for us beer drinkers that go to the gym in mind. After seeing that these were 5 basic tees for $21, I figured I'd try them.I'm 5'11, 220 lbs. I am in shape but I also don't say no to cookies. I ordered an XL as these are 100% cotton. Without washing, they're just a tad too baggy. After washing on cold and drying on low heat, they shrunk down (remember, 100% cotton) to a better fit.I'd recommend ordering a size up but also, sizes are not standard at all for tee shirts in general. I have mediums that I bought 50lbs ago that still fit fine but have larges that are skin tight. If you need basic tees, order a few packs in different sizes, find your fit, and return the incorrect sizes. Really, for $21 for 5 shirts, you can't go wrong.I recently started getting back into working out, I bought these shirts just to have some simple shirts that I could possibly use at the gym, now I find myself wearing them a lot more. Something about how they fit on my body makes me feel really good about myself, I look great when I look in the mirror with these on. They also feel comfortable, not too tight or loose, or I guess tight and loose in the right places. Maybe it's because these are a tad tighter than the shirts I've worn in the past, but they just make me feel nice, helps that I've put on quite a bit of muscle but idk, I just really like these shirts.After wearing the H brand for 25 years I made the switch. H lost there fit around the collar and didn’t hold up well. I wear white as a pure undershirt and the collar is nice and wide and stays in place. Material is soft and comfortable to wear. I order a size larger to accommodate shrinkage….Would buy again.Was worried material was going to be real flimsy….not good for a tee shirt…and size? Was worried size I ordered wouldn’t be the right size. Well the shirts are great!!! Size, Color, quality!!! Price…fantastic. They are just for yard working but they look smart. I will be ordering another package.I have ordered a ton of these. Why?For just $21 I can get 6 cotton shirts that will fit the way I expect them to. Well, except for the length. (More on that in a bit.) they aren’t too thick and border on, but don’t venture into, being too thin. They are *almost*, but not quite, disposable.The only problem is that the length of the shirt seems to vary from order to order a bit. One time they even went down to just about mid thigh, but that was only one order. My guess is that they save a good chunk of money by cutting back on QA.These shirts are great for doing chores, pajamas, running errands, art projects, and so on. If I want a nice soft tshirt with some real style? I’ll wear something different; these shirts just aren’t those kind of shirts, and that’s ok!I like basical solid color T-shirts but i don't want to spend a lot on something I'll probably ruin ( especially in white) and these do the job. After they shrink it should fit just below the belt and snug for me . Unlike other brand that are extremely thin, these are not see through that i can tell. Tattoos are standing out through them .These will be my go to t shirt anymore. I liked the price, how they fit, and that I buy five. Most importanly I liked the fabric. I have tried different t shirts from different stores and usually have left disapointed or if I do like the purchase I later forget where I got them. I found these and I like them and i just order here.I am surprised at how good these shirts fit and look. Have put a few through one wash cycle with no impact, so should be good to go with these. I probably buy some more while I can get them at this price.(I did notice that the manuf label on the upper inside of the shirt is really tough to see to get them on right for the darker colors that I chose - probably wearing it backwards half the time. Fits good either way if that is the case!)I bought these shirts because the graphic tees I've worn since the 9th grade (I'm 25) no longer cut it. I'm supposed to be an adult (we all know this is Fake News), and can't be wearing a shirt that says "Vote for Pedro" on it to a business meeting. Who am I kidding, though. I haven't ever attended a business meeting - thanks for ruining the economy, mom and dad! Needless to say, I'm the freshest looking guy in my Social Justice class now. This was the perfect amount of shirts, now that I don't have to choose which shirt I want to wear in the mornings I can spend more time thinking about where I'm going to buy my Avocado Toast.I really like the length of the shirt. Long enough to cover my belly. I'm 5'7" 170lb and whenever I buy size medium the shirts are a tad short. But these ones have a perfect length.I am typically a medium, and the reviews said they tend to fit small so I ordered large. They are a bit too big for my liking, but not so much. So if you're a medium or slightly larger, buy large... If you're on the smaller side of medium, buy medium.I ordered these to wear while I workout and do lawn work. The Dry Fit (polyester) irritates my skin. These claim to have moisture wicking technology, but I've never heard of cool spire. The only cotton wicking technology I've heard of is wicking windows and transdry (charged cotton). I have no idea which one Cool Spire is based off of. 6 shirts for the price of $22 is good. None of the shirts have a defects with the stitching like others have claimed, and the sizing is right. I like the length of the shirts, they are not too long that they almost go down to your knees, but they are long enough that if you raise you arms, they still cover your mid section. The quality of the cotton is fine, it isn't the softest, but I've had far worse. I'll say it is average to slightly above average. I've purchased white undershirts from Gildan in the past, they are the same quality as their regular shirts, but not as soft as their premium shirts. The only negative I would say is that they don't look exactly like the pictures. In the pictures the body portion looks more fitted, in reality the body portion is simply straight down, but I was expecting that based off other reviews.ProsGood quality for the priceI found the fit to be accurate to the sizing chartlength of shirt is goodNone of the shirts had any defects that others have claimed.ConsSoftness of cotton is average to at best slightly above average.Shirts are not as depicted in the photos. He outside all day and white is better in the summer (works construction). So the feel of them is great, not too thick, not too thin. They’re a great fit in him. He’s 6”2. But the most annoying thing is that some of the shirts have the label printed on the front of the collar. Like it’s been stamped??? See the picture. These ones are an embarrassment to wear obviously... so out of 6 shirts, we use 4. Maybe too much mass production...
