I was looking for a decent inexpensive jacket and this seemed to have all postive reviews, so I figured I'd give it a shot. Despite those reviews, I was still pleasantly surprised at the "bang for the buck" this jacket offers. Some background:Sizing: I'm 6'1", 200# with a 32" waist and 42" chest; I typically wear a large/size 44-46 for most lined jackets. Since I plan to add some layers to deal with Chicago winters I went with a 46 to allow room to add a layer. I'm glad I did - even sizing up, it's a nice fit without layers, and a tight fit with some of my thicker ribbed-knit sweaters. If you plan to wear it with the liner and/or layers, I recommend moving up a size. Some people have mentioned the sleeves are a bit long. Yes! Finally! If you actually ride, you WANT slighly longer sleeves to they don't ride up too much with your arms forward for riding.Styling: I was looking for a jacket that could work for any bike and off the bike. The vintage look works with my old '78 CB400T, and the cafe racer styling mostly works with my CBR600RR. The aged leather is a great shade, a mellow black/deep brown, but all the seams being lightened seems a bit gimmicky. Overall, the jacket looks good. You see a lot of "motorcycle jackets" that just mimic the design - the leather's too thin, there's no venting, the sleeves are too short, etc. This has style, but you can actually ride in it.Function/Features: Some nice features - the venting is very good, with slots at the chest, sides below the armpit, and black. Inside pockets are generous (one holds my 8" Kindle Fire HD), one is sized for a cell phone, one for a wallet/papers with zip closure. Front zipper has a storm flap to keep out wind. The liner is fully-sleeved rather than a vest, which is nice for those of us in the snow belt.On the downside, the outside pockets are a bit small if you've got big hands. And to keep the zippers from bouncing around, on all but the front run the zipper tabs slot inside the seams. Nice touch, but I had trouble working them barehanded - with gloves? Forget it. Minor issue, though.HTH!You are reading this because like me you were worried about the size and the quality. The quality is very good. The leather is soft and finished in an worn / distressed style. Looks cool enough. I don't look like a complete noob - ( i have only been riding bikes for the past 15 years, so I feel qualified to say that I am not a noob). The venting is good (I live in a hot country) and the zip-out inner is good enough, not perfect. I think I might have my tailor make some alterations to the inner and make it a bit better. Collar is more for show than for function, no internal wind tab that tucks into the space above the zipper.Size - I am 185cm or 6'1/2", I weigh 84kgs or 185 pounds and it is even distribution, no big gut, no huge biceps. I am just general movie-star quality proportions. I bought the usual size I would for anything - 42. And it fits exactly as I want it. I will be able to wear a t-shirt and a thin jersey under, tuck in a scarf to keep out the winter cold, but for summer hot - it will still be relatively snug fitting. You could be my size and have a medium size belly and still be fine. Wide shoulders not a problem as the proportions are big enough to accommodate this. If you have big forearms (like really big) then you will fee constricted in the lower sleeves, but of course the zippers will let you stretch out.Reflective strip: it is totally invisible in the day. It is a black color! It will only show up in strong direct white beams or in flash photography as another person has posted in the reviews.I bought another made in Pakistan jacket (fake leather) from an Amazon seller 2 years ago and cannot wear it, because my girlfriend says I look like a cheap Russian mobster. It is going to hit the bin this week.I really like this jacket and have received several compliments on it. Leather is great at blocking the wind. I have ridden in 40 degrees with this jacket on and the areas covered by the jacket are the only ones that stayed warm. The jacket fits perfect. It is a riding jacket so when you are not on the bike the sleeves are a little long. When you are in the riding position they are perfect. All riding jackets have longer sleeves than a normal jacket, and the sleeves on this jacket seem to be in line with all other riding jackets. My only complaint about this is that the neck covering is not functional. It does not stop air from going down the front of the jacket. It doesn't have a big impact on the performance of the jacket, but if I raise my head up at just the right angle while riding it will shoot a lot of air down the front of the jacket.I recently purchased Bilt Pathfinder H20 jacket and legs. I don't wear this jacket much anymore since getting them. They have many features that this jacket doesn't, but this jacket is still nice. The Bilt H20 set is waterproof, better air flow, better wind block, warmer, cooler, and more safety features like pads.If you are just worried about looking cool and having a good wind block then this jacket will do the trick. I recommend getting something with pads and more features for anyone serious about safety and comfort.
